A Kraal Beyond Measure

Kraal-An enclosure for animals located within an African village.

Opened in 2001 in the Animal Kingdom Resort area of Walt Disney World, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge provided an authentic African experience.   It was designed by the same team who gave us the Wilderness Lodge and Disneyland Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa. The resort provides several large, spacious open areas with an African Wildlife Preserve theme. Lodging is provided in wings off the main building ornately continuing the theme throughout the corridors with many art displays and paintings.Disney's_Animal_Kingdom_Lodge_logo.svg.png

Animal Kingdom Lodge also provides an incredible swimming experience with a large zero entry pool with water slide and two whirlpool spas.

No need to worry about going out for dining,as this lodge includes four restaurant experiences ranging from moderately expensive to fair with some requiring reservations.  There is the Jiko, Boma, Mara and Sanaa.
