Inner Peace Seems To Look Out Of These Beautiful Stain Glass Scenes
And Shadowed In Them Are The Surrounding Trees Giving The Appearance Of Outer Strength
I Love How The Morning Sunlight Shows Off The Imprint Of Leaves Limbs And The Trunks On The Brick And Glass
The Best Beauty I Present Last I Love To Hear This Bell If It Just Could Have Been Ringing This Morning When I Was Looking At It But I Still Sent My Prayers Up
We have a new baby,a brand new girl, all exactly 4 pounds of her adorable determined tiny self. Our daughter went through a lot and was being prepared for a C-Section when she decided no! I’m doing it my way. Her umbilical cord, she wore like a scarf. Wrapped around her neck and one arm. She makes 10 grandchildren for us!
She is in her own little room in the hospital,800 long miles away, not even aware who we are yet,but we are sending a lot of prayers her way. In my thoughts through the night,I pictured her angel beside her at all times, never once leaving her side the minute she was born.
No pictures have been sent yet. The night was hectic, frantic, scary and Momma is strong but tired. So we wait. Wait to see a photo of her show up on our phones. Wait to see when she will be able to go home.Wait to travel to see her in a little over a month.
So we wait. We say many prayers. We rejoice!
Who walks beside us when we think we are alone?
In daylight, look to the right,
the same beings will sit beside you each night.
Dreams, it seems…
Lips pressed close to our ear, telling us something, to calm our fear
Their sweet whisper, why can’t I remember?
In to the sky, they fly.
Making us smile, as we look above,
taking our heartache, giving their love.
Their steps on this earth no longer touch the ground.
They hear our prayers and pass them around.
This world is full of mystery that is not clear.
Beside you is a secret that is always near.
Guardian angel in check planting
Wings wrapped around
Pain no longer taking
Green soft feathers
Cruel pain healed in
sending her prayers on
Spreading blessings upon
The strength of our young man.
No looking back to give a final wave,
Just a slight turn of the eyes.
Bravely moving forward.
Walking through the open doors.
Showing STRENGTH purposely through silent prayer,
No final phone call.
Thirteen weeks moving in to manhood.
Knowing We Are In Prayer.
Bravely moving in to Strength through those who became powerful before him.
Thank you for them!
Young Man Being Lead,
In To The Marines.
Strength of his and our prayers.
Family strengthened through prayer.
Remembering he can do all things through Christ who gives him strength!

Gary found a very wonderful, helpful, informative site usmcgradparrisisland.org. I can not wait to have some alone time to learn from this dear lady that worked so hard to inform us parents about graduation day at Parris Island. The notebooks and calendars are so I can write everything down that is starting to swirl through my head during the day and while I sleep.
Many prayers being sent up, but much more blessings being sent down.
